Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is still an Asobo character drama even after the stealth drop. Sophia does not walk the island as a silent protagonist. Leni

Chapter 1 uses him as a cabin conversation and a sword lesson. Later chapters use him as the reason the crew went into the dark. He is also a fight. The walkthrough lists “Kill Faro” as a Chapter 9 objective without turning this page into a boss guide. Bring parries and Theseus verbs; do not expect a cutscene-only reunion.

Theseus

Theseus is the myth the island is built on and a playable echo in dual-timeline sections. A dedicated page sits on Theseus. What you do in Minoan sequences changes how 1334 rooms exist. That is the design hook Wikipedia and previews both mention. Treat him as Sophia’s combat ancestor, not as a second campaign select screen. Alec, Ezra, Valerio, Daedalus

Alec is Sophia’s father, the plunderer-camp leader who pulled her from the convent. He does not return from an earlier island voyage. The Heritage Pack pendant is named for him. He is motive, not a follower you order. Ezra is the chef who fakes a chase in the Blood Ties tutorial. Valerio teaches the first real parry after the time skip. Daedalus is the ancient architect whose sphere, frescoes, and light locks fill the puzzle solutions page. You do not meet a living Daedalus in the modern sense; you inhabit his machine.

The army chasing Sophia is a faction of plunderers and soldiers who want the treasure and call her vermin. They are the melee diet, not a named warlord you duel every hour.

How companions change routing

When Leni is present, check the side door she opens before you follow the main beam. When she is not, squeeze gaps are your only extra loot. When Theseus tools are active, look for throws and group stuns you did not have in Chapter 2. When Faro is in the scene, listen for bridge choices that are actually linear.
