Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Resonance Guides Hub
First-hour help, chapter routes, melee, light trials, and 100 percent cleanup.
This hub is the map of every playable guide on the wiki. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is a linear action-adventure, but it still hides blades in hero graves, charms in squeeze-gap chests, and Resonance Points that do not carry over in chapter select. If you just launched the game, start with the beginner guide. If you are stuck on a trial or a chase, jump to the chapter walkthrough or the puzzle solutions.
What to read first
The first hour teaches a melee loop that does not exist in Innocence or Requiem. Sophia parries, kicks, and stabs instead of lighting braziers for rats. Read the combat guide before the Venice rooftops so you do not mash through the stagger bar. Then open controls once, because the same interact button covers squeeze gaps, trinkets, and thrown knives.
After Chapter 3 you start finding Resonance Points on the ground. Those points buy six skills and a mastery on each skill. Rank them on the skills and builds page before you spend, because the next skill costs five more points than the last. Mastery always costs ten. You can respec for free, so a bad first pick is not permanent.

The campaign is single-player only. There is no raid and no live-service board. Difficulty can be changed at any time, which matters more than a hidden “easy mode” toggle from older Asobo titles.
Chapter rhythm
Fourteen chapters, from Blood Ties to the epilogue What Remains. Early chapters mix Venice alleys with combat tutorials. Mid-game chapters (From Hell It Rose through Death It Sowed) are where most light puzzles and charm chests sit. Chapter 8 is the namesake Resonance beat and has no collectibles. Night Has Come and Parallel Paths mix chase sequences with Theseus sections. Patera, Fading Light, and As One close the island.
Keep the collectibles table next to the walkthrough if you care about Like a Warrior. You need 165 of 200 Resonance Points in a single playthrough. Chapter select restores other collectables, but it resets your point total to whatever you had at that chapter.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which guide should I open on a first playthrough?
Use the beginner guide through Chapter 2, then keep the walkthrough and combat guide in another tab.
Do these guides spoil the ending?
The walkthrough names chapters and collectible counts. Puzzle pages describe rooms. Full plot spoilers, including the beast and the credit sting, live on ending explained.
Is Resonance a stealth game like Requiem?
No. Melee is the default. You can still use height, grapples, and thrown bottles, but the campaign expects you to fight groups in the open.
